Eurotec – Technical profile of a limit switch box and valve automation accessories manufacturer

Eurotec Antriebszubehör GmbH is a German manufacturer of valve automation accessories, with a primary focus on limit switch boxes, NAMUR solenoid valves, mounting kits, adaptation parts and pneumatic accessories for rotary and linear actuators.

Eurotec does not manufacture process valves. Its products are used in the automation layer between the valve, actuator and control system. In practice, a Eurotec limit switch box converts the mechanical position of a valve into electrical feedback for PLC, DCS, SIS or local control panels.

The main product areas include:

Limit switch boxes are used on automated ball valves, butterfly valves, plug valves and linear actuators. Selection depends on actuator type, shaft height, mounting pattern, sensor type, wiring, enclosure material and hazardous area classification.

Available sensing technologies may include:

  • M12 connectors or terminal wiring.

For hazardous areas, Ex ia, Ex e ia or Ex de t configurations must be selected according to the zone classification, gas group, dust group, temperature class, cable gland type and intrinsic safety concept.

Eurotec products are relevant for valve application engineers, automation engineers and maintenance departments. The limit switch box must be considered part of the complete valve automation package: valve, actuator, solenoid valve, position feedback, wiring and control logic must be evaluated together.
