Accessories
Actuator accessories are used for the mechanical and functional adaptation of valves, pneumatic actuators, manual valves, position sensors, and automation assemblies. Selection should be based on the connection standard, stem geometry, shaft height, drilling pattern, operating torque, installation vibration, and any requirement for position feedback to PLC or DCS.
This category includes Eurotec brackets, adapters, and mounting kits for interfaces in accordance with VDI/VDE 3845 and ISO 5211. Types such as VDI-VDE-MB, MBH, MB-WDF, IMBHV, MBNE/MBNS, WDF, WV, ARE, RHE/RHX, and MSH are used for alignment and mechanical connection between actuator, valve, limit switch box, double sensor, or puck. Correct selection reduces misalignment, eccentric loading, axial stress, and coupling failures between valve stem and actuator output.
The IMBHV bracket is specified as a stainless steel 1.4301 construction, adjustable in height and width, for standardized drilling patterns to VDI/VDE 3845 and ISO 5211. It covers 80x30 mm and 130x30 mm patterns with shaft heights of 20 and 30 mm. With an additional lower section, it can also accommodate 40 and 50 mm shaft heights or a 50x25 mm drilling pattern. The MB series consists of one-piece mounting bridges intended for assemblies exposed to higher vibration levels.
WDF adapters allow the same double sensor or puck to be used across actuators and valves of different sizes, reducing spare part variation in maintenance. MSH-EPV mounting kits are intended for fitting double sensors to manual valves where open/closed position feedback and monitoring of unauthorized operation are required within the control system.
During installation, concentricity, coupling height, material selection, corrosion protection, bolting, sensor accessibility, and compatibility with ATEX or SIL requirements should be verified where the valve assembly forms part of a safety-related function.
