Clorius G3F-I – Three-Way Control Valve with Reversed Ports
The Clorius G3F-I is a flanged three-way control valve made from spheroidal graphite iron EN-GJS-400-15, designed for mixing or diverting flow in water, lubricating oil, and other liquid media. The I version features reversed port configuration, positioning the common port AB/1 on the left side of the installation. It is utilized in industrial processes, district heating, central heating systems, and marine installations.

Kvs and Stroke
| DN | Kvs Mixing | Kvs Diverting | Stroke |
|---|---|---|---|
| DN80 | 80 m³/h | 69 m³/h | 11 mm |
| DN100 | 125 m³/h | 108 m³/h | 13 mm |
| DN125 | 215 m³/h | 185 m³/h | 18 mm |
| DN150 | 310 m³/h | 267 m³/h | 20 mm |
In diverting operation, pressure drop increases by approximately 35% and Kvs decreases by 14% compared to mixing.
Port Operation
Port AB/1 is always the common port. Without an actuator, connection 2–1 is open and 3–1 is closed via spring. With shaft loading, A/2 closes and B/3 opens. With a thermostat V or normal direction motor, A closes on temperature rise and B opens.
Low Leakage Version
For LDCL cooling water systems, a reversed Low Leakage version DN80–DN300 is available. It features a soft-seat at AB–B, leakage class IV, and is specified as 0.0% leakage in this path. It is selected when internal leakage affects the cooling circuit's operating temperature.
Installation
The valve can be installed with a vertical or horizontal shaft. Actuator protection from moisture and vibrations is required, with a free height of 400 mm for AVM/AVF 234 or 745 mm for pneumatic actuators.
