Cast Iron Swing Check Valve JIS 10K F7373

Flanged swing check valve, straight-through flow pattern, designed for marine piping systems and auxiliary industrial water installations. Operation is based on line differential pressure, with no actuator or external manual intervention required.

Standards and Test Pressure

This series is manufactured in accordance with JIS F7373-1996 and tested per JIS F7400-1996. For the JIS 10K version, hydrostatic shell test pressure is 2.1 MPa, and seat test pressure is 1.54–0.4 MPa.

Operational Characteristics

The disc opens when inlet pressure exceeds disc resistance and closes when flow decreases or reverse pressure occurs. At low flow rates, unstable disc position, noise, or hinge pin wear may occur. Valve selection should consider actual flow and installation position, not only nominal diameter.

Maintenance
