Genebre 2430N – NPT Swing Check Valve

The Genebre 2430N is a swing-type check valve with threaded NPT ends conforming to ASME B1.20.1, designed to prevent reverse flow in small process lines. The disc opens by differential fluid pressure and closes when flow decreases or reverses. No actuator is required; operation is fully automatic.

Operating Limits

Kv values: 2.2 / 4.4 / 8.2 / 16.4 / 24.1 / 44.2 m³/h for 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1¼", 1½", and 2" sizes. Use these for pressure drop calculations, especially at low flow rates where the disc may not remain fully open.

Installation

Install in horizontal pipelines or vertical lines with upward flow. Piping must be free of debris and welding residues. Recommended straight lengths: 10×DN upstream and 3×DN downstream from pumps, elbows, reducers, or other valves.

Applications

Suitable for water, air, auxiliary process circuits, and compatible liquids or gases. Confirm compatibility with CF8M, AISI 316, and PTFE. For chlorinated, acidic, or hot fluids, assess corrosion and pressure derating.
