Berluto SP 80 T is an angle-type, direct-acting, spring-loaded pressure relief/overflow valve. Designed for pump protection, bypass lines, and overpressure control in liquid, gas, and steam networks. Operation is proportional, without pneumatic or electric actuators.
The SP 80 T version uses PTFE sealing, allowing higher operating temperatures than the NBR version. NBR is limited to approx. +100°C, while PTFE enables operation up to +225°C. The 12–20 bar range is only available with PTFE sealing.
SP 80 T is used for:
Select based on set pressure, relief flow, temperature, medium, and thread size. For continuous bypass, monitor thermal load of return medium. Contaminants or particles on the seat may cause leakage after opening, especially in systems without upstream filtration.
Is this a full-lift safety valve?
No. It is a proportional relief/overflow valve.
When is the T version selected?
When PTFE sealing, higher temperature, or up to 20 bar set pressure is required.
Is an external actuator needed?
No. Operation is mechanical via process pressure and spring force.
