Berluto DRV 750 Stainless Steel Low Output Pressure Reducer

The Berluto DRV 750 is a direct-acting pressure reducer featuring a diaphragm, adjustment spring, and inlet pressure compensation. The downstream pressure is mechanically adjustable within the range of 0.2–2 bar, requiring no external energy or impulse line. This series is designed for low output pressures in a stainless steel construction.

Technical Specifications

  • DN15–DN50.
  • Internal thread G 1/2” to G 2” per ISO 228.
  • Optional NPT thread per ASME B1.20.1.
  • Maximum inlet pressure p1: 25 bar.
  • Outlet pressure p2: 0.2–2 bar.
  • Minimum differential pressure p1–p2: 1 bar.
  • Kvs: 2.9 / 3.9 / 5.4 / 6.1 / 9 / 13 m³/h.
  • Operating temperature up to 190°C, depending on elastomer.

Materials and Seals

The body and spring cap are made from stainless steel 1.4408. Wetted internal parts are stainless steel 1.4404. Seals available in NBR for DN15–DN32 up to 100°C, EPDM up to 130°C, and FKM up to 190°C. The EPDM version is FDA and EC 1935/2004 compliant for secondary food applications.

Suitable Media

The series is intended for aggressive waters and aggressive liquids. It can also be used in air and neutral gases when the required flow is within the valve's Kvs limits.

Applications

Typical uses include low-pressure circuits, equipment supply with limited allowable pressure, processes requiring stainless steel, auxiliary water networks, neutral gases, and applications requiring regulation below 2 bar.

Installation and Selection

The valve features an integrated filter, replaceable internal parts, and dual manometer connection G 1/4” for outlet pressure indication. Installation can be in any position, with a preference for vertical. Selection requires p1, p2, flow rate, DN, Kvs, temperature, medium, and sealing material.

Certificates

CE-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is mandatory for numerous products and delivery areas. Other certificates, however, are certificates of individual quality, such as DVGW and DIN EN ISO 9001, which stands for the internal quality management system  with its extensive functional and performance checks. The particularly strict regulations of the national rules and regulations guarantee the highest possible safety - especially when it comes to the reliability in your plant.
