Knife Gate Valve Zubi T400 Silo Type
The Zubi T400 is a knife gate valve wafer, unidirectional, monoblock, designed for silo discharge, hopper outlets, and bulk handling lines with powders or granular solids. It is not intended for precise flow regulation; its primary function is isolation or controlled discharge of solid materials.
Operating Principle
The valve is typically installed in reverse position, with the seat facing the upstream side, to reduce material buildup in the body, seat wear, and closing difficulty. The body features 4 flushing holes as standard, for cleaning internal residues and preventing solid entrapment. Installation direction is indicated by an arrow on the body.
