CLASS SIZES FIG. N°
PN 16 DN 50 - DN 1400 1190
The Valvosider Fig. 1190 is a metal-seated gate valve designed for flow isolation in steam networks, condensates, thermal oil, industrial water, gases, and general process fluids. It functions as an on/off valve; intermediate positioning is not recommended due to increased wear on seats and gate. The series covers PN16, DN50–DN1400, with face-to-face F5.
Basic body/bonnet versions include 1.0619, 1.7365, 1.4552, and 1.4408. Seat and gate surfaces are available in X20Cr13, X20Cr13 + hard facing, X6CrNiTi18-10, or X5CrNiMo17-12-2, depending on temperature, corrosion, and wear. Options for Stellite, Monel, Hastelloy, and other materials are available upon request.
Design is based on EN 12516. Face-to-face dimensions per EN 558, flanges per EN 1092, testing per EN 12266, marking per EN 19. Documentation includes CE/PED and certificates EN 10204 3.1 / 3.2.
Available with top flange ISO 5210, gear reducer, chain wheel, electric, pneumatic, or hydraulic actuator, position indicator, limit switches, locking/interlock, stem extension, live-loaded packing, drain plug, by-pass, BW ends, and ANSI connections. Gear reducer recommended from DN500 and above.
When to choose over bellow seal?
When standard sealing with graphite packing is acceptable. For stricter fugitive emissions control, choose a bellow seal version.
What does F5 mean practically?
Longer installation length than compact types, useful for replacing existing DIN valves with long pattern.
Can it be automated?
Yes, with torque control, stem travel, ISO 5210 interface, and limit switches.
