Diaphragm Valve Zubi T85
The Zubi T85 is a flanged, straight-through, bidirectional, full bore diaphragm valve with a cast monoblock body and bolted bonnet. It is primarily used for flow isolation in liquids, slurries, and industrial media containing solids, where the straight-through design minimizes retention zones and pressure drop. Available with or without internal lining, depending on the medium and corrosiveness.

Materials and Diaphragms
Bodies: GG25, GGG50, A216 WCB, CF8, CF8M, CF3M, CN7M, bronze RG7, 254SMO, 654SMO, Duplex SAF2205, Superduplex SAF2507, AISI310, AISI904, and AISI316Ti. Linings: hard rubber/ebonite, antiabrasive natural rubber, neoprene, butyl, NBR, Hypalon, Halar/ECTFE, and Rilsan. Diaphragms: Butyl, reinforced Butyl, Natural Rubber, EPDM, Hypalon, Neoprene, Nitrile, Silicone, and Viton.
Applications
Suitable for:
- water and wastewater treatment,
- pulp and paper industry,
- chemical circuits with compatible lining,
- mining and abrasive slurries,
- power generation and auxiliary networks.
Handling and Maintenance
Available with handwheel, pneumatic actuator (air-open, air-close, or double acting), electric actuator, and gearbox. Automation options: position indicators, limit switches, solenoid valves, padlock, and positioner 4–20 mA. The body–diaphragm–actuator arrangement allows diaphragm replacement or actuator upgrade without removing the body from the line.
Difference from T85/99
The T85 is flanged and can be supplied with body lining. The T85/99 is threaded BSP/NPT, DN20–DN65, without available rubber lining, thus not selected for abrasive or corrosive media.
