Cryogenic Ball Valve Adler with 100 mm Stem Extension

The Adler ball valve with 100 mm cryogenic stem extension is designed for low-temperature service down to -80°C. Certified to ISO 28921-1 and ISO 28921-2, this configuration is not intended for applications at -196°C. Do not confuse with variants rated for -196°C.

Construction Features

Standard design includes anti blow-out proof stem, antistatic device, construction and marking per BS 5351, and ISO 5211 top flange for actuator mounting. All valves are 100% air-tested underwater at 100 psi.

Operational Use

The 100 mm stem extension isolates the operator and stem sealing from the cold zone. Suitable for low-temperature processes, technical gases, refrigeration circuits, and lines requiring isolation below ambient temperature. Not for cryogenic media at -162°C or -196°C unless otherwise specified.

Seat and Automation Options

On request: PTFE / glass-reinforced PTFE half shell seats, PTFE seats with glass, carbon, stainless steel, bronze fillers, or metal core. Automation options include single/double-acting pneumatic actuators, electric actuators, manual gear operators, and pneumatic/electropneumatic positioners.

FAQ

Is this valve suitable for liquid nitrogen or LNG?
Not in the standard 100 mm extension version, as the specified temperature limit is -80°C.
