Cryogenic Ball Valve Adler with 250 mm Stem Extension

The Adler cryogenic ball valve is designed for operation down to -196°C, featuring a 250 mm stem extension. The 250 mm dimension refers to the stem extension length, not the nominal bore. Certified variants are available for DN15 to DN100, depending on series and pressure class.

Construction and Standards

Manufactured and certified to ISO 28921-1 and ISO 28921-2 for cryogenic valves. Standard features include anti blow-out stem, antistatic device, construction and marking per BS 5351, ISO 5211 top flange, and 100% air submersion testing at 100 psi.

Operational Use

The 250 mm stem extension isolates the stem seal and operator from the cold zone. This configuration is used for liquid nitrogen, LNG, cryogenic gases, and isolation lines where thermal transfer to the operator must be minimized.

Seat and Automation Options

On request: PTFE / glass-reinforced PTFE half shell seats, PTFE seats with glass, carbon, stainless steel, bronze, or metal core fillers. Automation options include single/double-acting pneumatic actuators, electric actuators, manual gearboxes, and pneumatic/electropneumatic positioners.
