Bellino GVPC – Analog Globe Control Valve

The Bellino GVPC is a globe valve with contoured trim, designed for automatic control of liquid, gas, or steam flow in industrial installations. It functions as a final control element in pressure, level, temperature, or flow loops, where pressure drop is achieved through throttling at the trim.

GVPC Construction Variants

The series includes configurations:

• S – Standard
• B – Balanced, for higher Δp with reduced actuator force
• T – Threaded seat
• Q – Quick change seat
• M – Microflow, for very low Cv
• I – Soft seat, for lower seat leakage

Pressure, Materials, and Trim

Technical catalog features ANSI 150, 300, 600, and ANSI 900–2500 versions, with dimensions per ANSI/ISA 75.08.01. Body materials include A216 WCB, A352 LCB, A217 WC6/WC9, and stainless A351 CF8/CF8M. Trim options include SS316, Stellite, 17-4PH, and others based on medium, temperature, corrosion, and erosion risk.

Sealing and Leakage

Shaft sealing can be achieved with Teflon up to approximately 210°C or Grafoil/graphite up to approximately 560°C. For vacuum applications, double packing is available. Seat leakage classes are per ANSI/FCI 70-2, with available Class IV, V, and VI; Class VI requires resilient/soft seat.

Actuators and Instruments

The GVPC pairs with pneumatic actuators, I/P positioner, smart positioner, air filter, solenoid, lock-up valve, limit/proximity switches, and booster. Electric or electro-pneumatic actuators are available upon request.

Typical Applications

Used in chemical, power, oil & gas, and utility systems for steam, gases, water, oils, and general industrial fluids. Selection requires Cv, P1/P2, temperature, medium, allowable leakage, fail position, noise/cavitation check, and material compatibility.
