Bellino GVLN – Globe Control Valve Low-Noise Trim

The Bellino GVLN is a globe-type control valve designed for applications where pressure drop results in increased noise, high velocity, or significant expansion in the trim. This model is part of the Globe Valve Low Noise series and serves as a final control element in flow, pressure, level, or temperature loops for liquids, gases, and steam.

GVLN Versions

  • S – Standard: basic low-noise trim configuration.
  • B – Balanced: for higher Δp and reduced actuator force requirements.
  • T – Threaded seat: threaded seat design.
  • Q – Quick change seat: quick replacement seat.
  • I – Soft seat: for lower seat leakage requirements.

Materials and Pressure Classes

The catalog lists bodies in A216 WCB, A352 LCB, A217 WC6/WC9, A351 CF8/CF8M, with corresponding bonnets A105, A350 LF2, A182 F11/F22/F304/F316. Trim materials include SS316, SS316 + Stellite, 17-4PH, and A182 F6NM, depending on corrosion, temperature, and erosion risk. Sizes/Cv are available for ANSI 150, 300, 600, and ANSI 900–2500, with face-to-face per ANSI/ISA 75.08.01.

Sealing and Leakage

Shaft sealing is achieved with Teflon packing up to 210°C or Grafoil/graphite up to 560°C. Double packing can be requested for vacuum applications. Seat leakage must be specified in the datasheet; Bellino provides Class IV, V, and VI per ANSI/FCI 70-2, with Class VI for resilient seats.

Actuation

Compatible with pneumatic spring diaphragm actuators, direct or reverse acting, and instruments like positioners, I/P converters, filter regulators, solenoids, boosters, and limit/proximity switches. Electric or electro-pneumatic actuators are available upon request.
