Genebre 2025V Analog V-Port Ball Valve

The Genebre 2025V is a three-piece V-port control ball valve designed for flow modulation in industrial process lines. The V-type ball enables proportional flow control, making the valve suitable for applications requiring throttling, not just on/off isolation. Body and trim are stainless steel CF8M / AISI 316, with threaded ends and direct actuator mounting via ISO 5211 interface.

V-Port Selection

The V-notch angle determines available Kv and flow characteristic at partial opening. V30 is used for fine control and low flow rates, V60 for intermediate range, and V90 for higher flow. For DN50, Kv at 100% open is 31.6 / 68.4 / 131.5 for V30 / V60 / V90 respectively.

Installation & Operation

Install valve according to flow direction indicated on the body. Ensure clean piping, proper alignment, and upstream filtration to prevent seat and ball damage from particulates or weld debris.

Three-piece design allows in-line maintenance of the central body with minimal piping disturbance compared to two-piece valves. Avoid leaving media that solidify, crystallize, or polymerize inside the ball cavity.
