Genebre 2526AV ANSI 150 V-Port Control Ball Valve

The Genebre 2526AV is a two-piece V-port control ball valve with V-port ball and ANSI Class 150 flanged ends. Designed for flow modulation in process lines where throttling is required via opening angle, not just on/off isolation. Flow direction is fixed and must follow the arrow marked on the valve body.

V-Port Selection

Available V-port angles: 30°, 60°, 90°. V30 provides lower Kv and finer control at small openings. V60 is suitable for intermediate flow rates. V90 is selected for higher Kv at full open.

For DN50, Kv at 100%: 31.6 (V30), 68.4 (V60), 131.5 (V90). For DN100: 124.8 / 258.6 / 507.7 respectively.

Installation & Operation

Flanges must be clean, parallel, and aligned; avoid pipe stress on the valve body. Install a strainer upstream, especially in lines with particulates or welding residues. Do not allow fluids that solidify, crystallize, or polymerize to remain in the ball cavity.
