Genebre 2528V Analog V-Port Flanged Ball Valve

The Genebre 2528V is a two-piece V-port control ball valve with V-port ball, DIN flanged ends, and a body made from stainless CF8M / 316. Designed for modulating flow control in process lines, it is specified where throttling and proportional regulation are required, not just on/off isolation.

V-Port Selection

V-port angle determines available Kv and flow response at partial opening. V30 is used for low flow rates and finer control at small openings. V60 covers intermediate range. V90 provides higher Kv at full open. For DN50, typical Kv at 100% open: 31.6 / 68.4 / 131.5 for V30 / V60 / V90.

Installation & Operation

Valve has defined flow direction and must be installed per body arrow. Flanges should be aligned to avoid stress; use cross-tightening and suitable gaskets. Horizontal installation with stem upright and upstream filtration is recommended.

Media that solidify, crystallize, or polymerize should not remain in the ball cavity, as this affects seat integrity and operational life.
