STRIKO Verfahrenstechnik is a German manufacturer of rupture discs, rupture disc holders, burst indicators, static mixers and heat exchangers for viscous or high-viscosity media. In the Philippopoulos S.A. range, the main technical focus is on rupture discs and accessories for pressure protection.

Forward acting rupture discs operate under tensile stress. Reverse acting rupture discs operate by buckling or reversal and are often selected for higher operating ratios, vacuum resistance and cycling resistance. Graphite rupture discs are used where corrosion resistance is required. Aseptic discs are used in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food and beverage applications where hygienic connections and cleanability are required.

The holder is part of the safety assembly. It defines centring, sealing, compression and repeatability of installation. Pre-torqued holders reduce installation errors caused by incorrect flange tightening.

STRIKO static mixers and heat exchangers are used where mixing or heat transfer must occur without rotating equipment, especially in viscous media. For these products, pressure drop, viscosity, Reynolds number, material compatibility and cleanability are central design parameters.
