Genebre 2105 wafer ball valve PN16

The Genebre 2105 is a wafer-type full bore ball valve for installation between PN16 flanges. The body is ASTM A105 carbon steel, with ball, stem and cap in AISI 304 stainless steel. Seats and seals are PTFE. Stated operating temperature range: -20°C to +180°C, subject to pressure, medium and sealing compatibility.

Installation and operation

The wafer construction reduces face-to-face length compared with a conventional flanged ball valve. The valve is clamped between mating flanges and is normally operated manually by lever. Correct flange alignment and even bolt tightening are important to avoid body stress and external leakage.
