Genebre 2015 full bore ball valve
The Genebre 2015 is a two-piece full bore ball valve with female threaded ends to BSP ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1. The body is AISI 316 / 1.4408. Seats and body seals are PTFE + 15% glass fibre, with a Viton stem O-ring.
Nominal pressure rating is PN63. Operating temperature range is -25°C to +180°C, subject to pressure, medium, cycling frequency and seal compatibility.

Valve selection notes
The full bore design gives a flow path close to the pipe bore and reduces pressure drop compared with reduced bore ball valves. This is relevant where line velocity, flushing, pigging limitations or pressure loss must be considered.
Selection should verify compatibility of AISI 316, PTFE/GF and Viton with the fluid, concentration, operating temperature and cleaning procedure. For cyclic duty, stem sealing, handle accessibility and leakage class expectations should also be reviewed.

FAQ
Can it be used for steam?
Use on steam requires confirmation of pressure, temperature and seal suitability. PTFE-based seats are temperature-limited and must be checked against the actual steam duty.
Is it suitable for modulating control?
No. It is primarily an isolation valve. For modulating service, a control valve or characterized ball valve should be evaluated.
Can it be automated?
Yes. The ISO 5211 pad allows direct mounting of compatible pneumatic or electric actuators.
