Aseptic Spherical Ball Valve 4G Ghidini 100167

Two-way ball valve for aseptic process lines, available with DIN 11864-3 connections (Reihe A/B/C), NKS Form A, female type. Constructed from AISI 316L / 1.4404 with polished external finish. Manual stainless steel lever. Full or reduced bore options available.

Connection Configuration

  • Reihe A: For DIN 11866-A / DIN 11850 Reihe 2 pipe, DN10–DN100
  • Reihe B: For DIN 11866-B / ISO 1127 pipe, DN10–DN80
  • Reihe C: For DIN 11866-C / ASTM A-270 pipe, DN10–DN100

Series selection is not interchangeable without verifying pipe, clamp/aseptic connection dimensions, and gasket compatibility.

Sealing and Media Compatibility

Standard PTFE seat is suitable for process water, food, beverages, pharmaceuticals, and chemicals compatible with AISI 316L/PTFE. Alternative seats: PTFE with glass (up to +170°C), PTFE with carbographite (up to +180°C), PTFE with stainless steel (up to +200°C), UHMW polyethylene (up to +80°C).

Applications

Used in aseptic filling lines, CIP/SIP sections, dosing lines, and transfer of food, cosmetics, and pharmaceutical products. Primarily for on/off isolation; not recommended for continuous throttling service.
