Automatic On/Off Valve Genebre Type 5062

The Genebre 5062 is a pneumatic straight-through valve with an axial shutter, full bore, and piston actuation. The default configuration is Normally Closed / NC with spring return, but it can be converted to Normally Open / NO by changing the spring position and air supply.

Suitable Media

The 5062 is intended for hot water and low-pressure steam, with a steam limit up to 5 bar. It is not suitable for oils, greases, fuels, or fluids incompatible with EPDM and stainless steel AISI 304.

Pneumatic Connection

The air connection follows NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845, G1/8". Control air pressure is 4–8 bar. The actuation medium must be clean and dry air, lubricated air, or inert non-corrosive gas.

Installation and Selection

The valve has a permissible installation direction, as indicated by the arrow on the body. The line must be free of chips, welding residues, and solids. The valve should not bear pipe loads; proper alignment is required, and an upstream filter is recommended.
