Automatic On/Off Valve Genebre Type 5062N

The Genebre 5062N is a pneumatic straight-through valve, full bore, with axial closure and piston actuation. The standard version is Normally Closed / NC with spring return, but it can also be configured as Normally Open / NO. The difference from the 5062 is the NPT connection according to ASME B1.20.1.

Suitable Media

The 5062N is intended for hot water and low-pressure steam, with a steam limit of up to 5 bar. It should not be selected for oils, greases, fuels, or other media incompatible with EPDM and stainless steel AISI 304.

Pneumatic Connection

The air connection is NAMUR VDI/VDE 3845, G1/8". The control pressure of the piston is 4–8 bar. The actuation air must be clean and dry or, where specified, lubricated air or inert non-corrosive gas.

Installation and Maintenance

The valve has a permissible flow direction, as indicated by the arrow on the body. Piping must be free of shavings and residues, with no mechanical loads on the body or actuator. The actuator should not be used as a lever for tightening. An upstream filter is recommended to reduce seat wear.
