Variable Body Safety Showers
The range includes adjustable B-Safety body emergency showers for installations where personnel may be exposed to chemicals, corrosive media, dust, or thermal loads. Available configurations cover recessed ceiling installation, over-door mounting, exposed pipework, direct ceiling mounting, and installation in suspended ceilings, in ClassicLine and PremiumLine versions.
Type selection is based on room geometry, mounting height, available pipe routing, and access requirements for inspection and maintenance. The adjustable versions allow headroom and/or overall width to be set so the shower head can be positioned at the required flushing point without interference from doors, suspended ceilings, or process equipment. For over-door installation, the stated dimensions are 525 mm projection, adjustable width 285-1535 mm, and installation height 2345 mm ±100 mm. For suspended ceilings, the stated adjustment ranges are headroom 360-1610 mm and width 285-1535 mm.
Technical data include a dynamic operating pressure of 1.5-3 bar, nominal flow rate 50 l/min, with optional configurations for 75 or 110 l/min, and a 3/4 in. male or female water connection depending on the version. Actuation is by means of a 3/4 in. ball valve with pull rod. An integrated flow regulator maintains the specified spray pattern within the defined pressure range.
ClassicLine versions use stainless steel components with a chemically resistant green coating and a shower head manufactured from chemically resistant plastic. PremiumLine versions are based on polished stainless steel construction. The shower head is self-draining and designed to limit deposits while providing uniform rinsing of hazardous substances from the skin. The range is stated as compliant with EN 15154, ANSI Z358.1, DIN-DVGW, DIN 1988, and EN 1717, with safety marking to EN ISO 7010 / ASR A1.3.
