Solenoid Diaphragm Valve 2/2-Way - Series 220 | AWS

Electromagnetic Diaphragm Valve 2/2 AWS Type 220

The AWS Type 220 is a 2/2-way seat valve with diaphragm sealing, pilot-operated, in NC operation. Requires a minimum differential pressure of 0.1 bar between inlet and outlet for opening/closing, thus not selected for zero Δp circuits or for draining non-pressurized vessels.

Seal Selection

NBR covers applications up to +90 °C, EPDM up to +130 °C, and FKM up to +120 °C. The declared leakage class is A according to EN 12266-1.

Industrial Use

Suitable for clean water, neutral fluids, compressed air, and compatible gases without solids. Used in filling lines, process water networks, auxiliary circuits, industrial skids, and automation where inlet pressure is available.

Installation and Limitations

Flow direction follows the arrow on the body. Instructions indicate valves are not suitable for back pressure. Depressurization, cooling, flushing, and securing the installation are required before maintenance.

Options

NPT connection, plug with LED, oil/grease-free or silicone-free cleaning, special voltages, fully encapsulated coils with cable, and Ex coil II 2G Ex mb IIC T4 Gb / II 2D Ex mb tb IIIC T130°C Db.
