NORIS Bauform 111 – Dual-Sided Flow Indicator Without Liquid Retention

The NORIS 111 is a straight dual-sided flow indicator with flanged connection DIN PN16. Its body geometry is designed for horizontal installation, minimizing residual liquid retention, beneficial for lines that are drained, cleaned, or switch products.

Materials and Sealing

The body is available in stainless steel 1.4404 or 1.4571. Covers are stainless steel, bolts A4-70, and sight glasses are borosilicate per DIN 7080 or soda-lime per DIN 8902. Standard sealing is graphite, with other materials available depending on fluid and temperature.

Application Scope

Type 111 is used for visual inspection of filling and flow in liquid pipelines. Suitable for process water, CIP/drain lines, compatible chemical fluids, and auxiliary circuits where local observation is required without sensors or electrical signals.

Difference from NORIS 108

The 108 can be installed horizontally or vertically, while the 111 is specifically designed for horizontal installation to prevent liquid retention in the body. Selection is based on piping layout and drainage requirements.
