The ADCA SC32F and SC132F sample coolers are designed for cooling boiler water or steam samples prior to analysis of conductivity, pH, or chemical parameters. Cooling mitigates flashing of hot, pressurized samples, which can affect measurement accuracy and pose burn hazards.
The F variant integrates a drain funnel to direct cooled samples safely to drain or collection. Models SC32F/SS and SC132F/SS feature stainless steel body and coil for enhanced corrosion resistance.
Body rated to 20 bar at 120°C. Coil rated to 110 bar at 400°C or 90 bar at 450°C. Minimum operating temperature -10°C. Design in accordance with AD-Merkblatt.
With cooling water at 1 m³/h, 15°C, typical sample flow is 30–60 kg/h at approximately 30°C for boilers up to 20 bar / 220°C. For other pressures or certified values, consult manufacturer.
Install vertically. Ensure maximum cooling water flow before opening or closing sample valve. Coil must remain fully flooded. Optional accessories: sample inlet valve, cooling water valve, thermometer, compression fittings, threaded top cover.
