Genebre 2252N Safety Valve NPT

The Genebre 2252N is an angle-pattern, threaded safety valve constructed from stainless steel, designed for gas or steam service. The 2252N variant differs from the 2252 primarily in connection type: ends are NPT per ASME B1.20.1 rather than BSP. Design, calculation, and testing conform to EN 12516 and EN ISO 4126-1/7.

Selection and Maintenance Notes

Selection is based on set pressure, medium, temperature, discharge capacity, orifice, backpressure, and NPT connection. Outlet must be routed without mechanical loading on the valve and free of condensate traps. Contaminants, salts, or particulates on the seat may cause leakage after actuation.
