Gefran KM Pressure Transmitter
The Gefran KM is an analog pressure transmitter designed for hydraulic circuits, presses, power packs, pumps, and mobile machinery subject to vibration, thermal variation, and pressure spikes. The sensing element is a thick-film strain gauge on a stainless steel diaphragm.

- Accuracy at 23 °C: < ±0.5% FS
- Response time 10…90% FS: < 1 ms
- Process and ambient temperature: -40…+125 °C
- Wetted parts: stainless steel AISI 430F and 17-4 PH
- Protection: IP67 / IP69K with suitable female connector

Signal Outputs and Selection
Available outputs: 4…20 mA, 0…10 Vdc, 1…5 Vdc, 0.5…4.5 V ratiometric. Use 4…20 mA for long cable runs or environments with electromagnetic noise. Voltage outputs are suitable for short analog inputs on PLCs or ECUs. The 0…10 V version is not SIL/PL certified.
Process Connections and Sealing
Mechanical connections: G 1/4 ISO 1179-2, 9/16 UNF SAE J1926-2, R 1/4 ISO 7/1. Sealing codes: FKM for G 1/4, NBR for 9/16 UNF. For ranges up to 60 bar, ensure atmospheric compensation of connector or cable.
Pressure Spike Protection
For circuits with hydraulic shock, cavitation, or rapid valve closure, an integrated snubber with 0.5 mm orifice is available. This reduces sensor fatigue from pulsating pressures.
Standards
KM SIL2/PL d variants comply with EN IEC 62061, IEC/EN 61508, EN ISO 13849-1/-2. EMC 2014/30/EU, RoHS 2011/65/EU, and Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC are covered.
