Berluto DRV 672 / 678 Flanged Connection Pressure Reducers

The Berluto DRV 672 and DRV 678 are direct-acting pressure reducers, featuring diaphragm control, adjustment spring, single seat, and inlet pressure compensation. They are utilized in larger DN applications where low to medium downstream pressure regulation is required for water or neutral fluids.

Technical Specifications

  • DN65–DN150.
  • Flanges DIN EN 1092 PN25 for DN65–DN80.
  • Flanges DIN EN 1092 PN16 for DN100–DN150.
  • Optional PN25 for DN100–DN150, ANSI B16.5 RF Class 150 or JIS.
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 25 bar, per DN/PN.
  • DRV 672: outlet pressure 0.5–4 bar.
  • DRV 678: outlet pressure 0.5–9 bar.
  • Minimum differential pressure p1–p2: 1 bar.
  • Kvs: 48 / 60 / 70 / 170 / 210 m³/h, per DN.

Materials and Sealing

The body is made of red brass CC499K and the spring cap of cast iron. Wetted parts are brass and stainless steel V4A. Seals: NBR up to 100°C or EPDM up to 130°C. A -SW version is available for seawater, with media-resistant wetted parts.

Suitable Media and Applications

Suitable for water and neutral, non-sticky fluids. Can be used in air and neutral gases when large flow rates are required. For potable or seawater, consider special DRV-6 or DRV-SW series. Not intended for steam applications.

Selection

DRV 672 is selected for regulation between 0.5–4 bar. DRV 678 covers 0.5–9 bar. Sizing requires p1, p2, flow rate, DN, PN flange, Kvs, temperature, medium, and sealing material.

Certificates

CE-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is mandatory for numerous products and delivery areas. Other certificates, however, are certificates of individual quality, such as DVGW and DIN EN ISO 9001, which stands for the internal quality management system  with its extensive functional and performance checks. The particularly strict regulations of the national rules and regulations guarantee the highest possible safety - especially when it comes to the reliability in your plant.
