The Berluto DRV 624 is a direct-acting, piston-operated, spring-loaded pressure reducer with inlet pressure compensation. The downstream pressure is mechanically adjustable within the range of 4–12 bar, requiring no external energy or impulse line. It is designed for large DN and relatively high outlet pressure.
The body is made of red bronze CC499K and the spring cap of cast iron. Wetted parts in the basic version are brass and stainless steel V4A. Seals are NBR, with a temperature limit up to 100°C. A special version for seawater is available, with wetted parts made from materials resistant to the specific medium.
Used in water and neutral, non-sticky liquids. It can also be applied to air and neutral gases when larger flow rates are required. It should not be selected for steam without confirmation from the manufacturer.
Typical applications include industrial water, neutral process liquids, air lines, neutral gas networks, machine supplies, and local pressure reduction before consumers requiring 4–12 bar.
Sizing requires p1, p2, flow rate, DN, flange PN, Kvs, medium, temperature, and seawater version requirement. Installation can be in any position, with a preference for vertical. Dual G 1/4” gauge connections are provided for outlet pressure indication.
