Berluto DRV 602-6 Pressure Reducing Valve for Potable Water

The Berluto DRV 602-6 is a flanged direct-acting pressure reducing valve designed for higher flow rates of potable water. It features a diaphragm, spring, and inlet pressure compensation for adjustment, eliminating the need for an external actuator or impulse line. The valve is single-seated, with downstream pressure continuously adjustable between 1.5–6 bar.

Technical Specifications

  • DN65–DN150.
  • Flanges DIN EN 1092 PN25 for DN65–DN80.
  • Flanges DIN EN 1092 PN16 for DN100–DN150.
  • Maximum inlet pressure p1: 16 bar.
  • Outlet pressure p2: 1.5–6 bar.
  • Minimum differential pressure p1–p2: 1 bar.
  • Operating temperature: -15 to +100°C.
  • Kvs: 48 / 60 / 70 / 170 / 210 m³/h for DN65 / 80 / 100 / 125 / 150.

Materials and Potable Water Compatibility

The body is made of red bronze CC499K, and the spring cap is cast iron. Wetted parts are brass, while the diaphragm and seals are EPDM with ELL and W270 approvals. Metal parts comply with the UBA positive list for potable water applications.

Applications

Suitable for potable water distribution zones, central building supplies, industrial installations with sanitary requirements, downstream network protection, and equipment supply requiring limited operating pressure.

Installation and Selection

Installation can be in any position, preferably vertical. Sizing requires p1, desired p2, peak flow, DN, Kvs, water temperature, flange PN, and available differential pressure. The technical datasheet references PED 2014/68/EU, DVGW, ISO 9001, and available classification approvals DNV GL, ABS, LR, CCS, and BV.

Certificates

CE-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is mandatory for numerous products and delivery areas. Other certificates, however, are certificates of individual quality, such as DVGW and DIN EN ISO 9001, which stands for the internal quality management system  with its extensive functional and performance checks. The particularly strict regulations of the national rules and regulations guarantee the highest possible safety - especially when it comes to the reliability in your plant.
