Pressure Reducers Red-Bronze - DRV 3-Series - DRV 372/373/378 | Berluto

Berluto DRV 372 / 373 / 378 Direct-Acting Pressure Reducers

The Berluto DRV 372 / 373 / 378 series are diaphragm-controlled pressure reducers featuring a regulating spring, single seat, and inlet pressure compensation. The cartridge design allows for internal component replacement without removing the body. Suitable for water and neutral, non-sticky fluids, they can also be used with air or neutral gases when higher flow rates are required.

Technical Data

  • DN15–DN50.
  • Internal thread G 1/2” to G 2” per ISO 228.
  • Optional NPT thread per ASME B1.20.1.
  • Maximum inlet pressure up to 40 bar, depending on type and DN.
  • Outlet pressure 0.5–9 bar.
  • Minimum differential pressure p1–p2: 1 bar.
  • Kvs: 2.9–13 m³/h.
  • Operating temperature -30 to +190°C, depending on elastomer and version.

Type Differences

DRV 372 covers p2 0.5–4 bar, with p1 up to 40 bar for DN15–DN32 and up to 25 bar for DN40–DN50. DRV 373 covers DN15–DN32, p1 up to 16 bar, and p2 0.5–4 bar. DRV 378 is selected for higher downstream regulation, 0.5–9 bar, with p1 up to 40 bar for DN15–DN32 and up to 25 bar for DN40–DN50.

Materials and Seals

The body is made of red bronze CC499K. In the basic version, wetted parts are Hostaform C/POM and brass up to DN32, and brass from DN40. Seals are available in NBR, EPDM, or FPM. The HT version uses FPM and metallic internal parts for temperatures up to 190°C, but is not intended for steam.

Installation and Selection

The valve includes an integrated filter and dual gauge connection G 1/4” for outlet pressure indication. Installation can be in any position, with a preference for vertical. Selection requires p1, p2, flow rate, medium, temperature, DN, Kvs, elastomer, and thread type.

Certificates

CE-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is mandatory for numerous products and delivery areas. Other certificates, however, are certificates of individual quality, such as DVGW and DIN EN ISO 9001, which stands for the internal quality management system  with its extensive functional and performance checks. The particularly strict regulations of the national rules and regulations guarantee the highest possible safety - especially when it comes to the reliability in your plant.
