Berluto DRV 350 Low Output Pressure Regulator

The Berluto DRV 350 is a direct-acting pressure regulator, controlled via diaphragm, featuring a setting spring and inlet pressure compensation. Its cartridge design allows for the replacement of internal components without changing the body. It is intended for low downstream pressures in water and neutral, non-sticky fluids; it can also be used in air or neutral gases when higher flow rates are required.

Technical Data

  • DN15–DN50.
  • Internal thread G 1/2” to G 2” according to ISO 228.
  • Optional NPT according to ASME B1.20.1.
  • Maximum inlet pressure: 16 bar.
  • Output pressure setting: 0.2–2 bar.
  • Minimum differential pressure p1–p2: 1 bar.
  • Kvs: 2.9–13 m³/h, depending on DN.
  • Operating temperature: -30 to +190°C, depending on elastomer and version.

Materials and Seals

The body is made of red bronze CC499K. In the basic version, wetted parts are Hostaform C/POM and brass up to DN32, and brass from DN40. Seals are NBR, with options for EPDM or FKM. With a PA6 cap, the temperature limit is up to 75°C, while the HT version with FKM and metallic internal parts reaches up to 190°C. Not intended for steam.

Applications

Used in industrial water, neutral fluids, auxiliary machine circuits, air lines, and neutral gases where the required output pressure is in the range of 0.2–2 bar. For potable or seawater, consider the specific DRV-6 or DRV-SW series.

Installation and Selection

The valve features an integrated filter and dual gauge connection G 1/4” for downstream pressure indication. Installation can be in any position, preferably vertical. Selection requires p1, p2, flow rate, medium, temperature, DN, Kvs, sealing material, and thread type.

Certificates

CE-certification according to the European Pressure Equipment Directive is mandatory for numerous products and delivery areas. Other certificates, however, are certificates of individual quality, such as DVGW and DIN EN ISO 9001, which stands for the internal quality management system  with its extensive functional and performance checks. The particularly strict regulations of the national rules and regulations guarantee the highest possible safety - especially when it comes to the reliability in your plant.
