Valvosider DIN – Piston Check Valve

The Valvosider DIN piston check valve is a straight-through, non-return valve designed for unidirectional flow in industrial liquid or gas pipelines. Closure is achieved mechanically by the piston and spring, without the need for actuators or external control signals.

Pressure Classes and Sizes

Available in DIN PN16, PN25/40, PN63, PN100, and PN160. PN16, PN25/40, and PN63 versions are offered up to DN600; PN100 and PN160 up to DN300.

Construction and Materials

Standard design includes bolted cover, full bore, lapped seat/disc, and replaceable seat. Body materials: 1.0619 (carbon steel) and 1.4408 (stainless steel). Seat surfaces: X20Cr13 or X5CrNiMo17-12-2; optional Stellite, Monel, Hastelloy, or others per specification.

Connections and Sealing

Standard connection: flanged to EN 1092. Optional: butt weld ends (BW), RTJ flanges, ANSI connections. Gasket: stainless steel reinforced graphite, with PTFE or other materials on request. Optional disc with PTFE or elastomer for reduced seat leakage requirements.

Application Guidance

Used in steam lines, process water, condensate, thermal fluids, and compatible gases. Selection based on pressure, temperature, body material, and media corrosiveness. For high PN, verify pressure-temperature rating and available differential pressure for stable piston lift.
