Needle Valve 4G Ghidini 658201 – ISO 228 F with Calibrated Handwheel

Manual needle valve designed for low flow regulation in clean liquid or gas lines. Model 658201 features female/female ISO 228 threading, AISI 316L / 1.4404 body, polished exterior, and a calibrated handwheel for repeatable open positions. Available from 1/4” to 1 1/2”.

Operating Conditions

• Operating Temperature: -20°C to +160°C
• PN 160: 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”
• PN 100: 3/4”, 1”, 1 1/4”, 1 1/2”
• Operation: graduated handwheel, no actuator
• Sealing: FKM O-rings, PTFE, and glass-reinforced PTFE
• Critical Parts: body, needle, screw, stopper nut, and graduated ring made of AISI 316L

Process Applications

The calibrated handwheel allows operators to restore specific open positions after isolation or cleaning. The valve is used in:

• sampling lines
• low-flow bypass
• dosing/trimming auxiliary fluids
• instrument panels with ISO 228 threads
• clean utilities, air, nitrogen, or compatible fluids

Not intended for slurries, suspended solids, or high-viscosity products due to needle flow path restriction.

Difference from Basic ISO 228 Version

Compared to 658001, the 658201 is selected when visual position reference is required. It does not provide automatic flow control; final adjustment still depends on differential pressure, viscosity, and line characteristics.
