Manual high-pressure needle valve featuring a side vent port, designed for isolation and controlled venting of small volumes in instrumentation lines or auxiliary circuits. The 2226 series is constructed from stainless steel ASTM A479 Grade 316, with a maximum working pressure of 6000 psi at 38°C and a temperature range of -54°C to +232°C.
The vent port allows for depressurization or drainage of the downstream section post-isolation. It is used in instrumentation setups where safe depressurization is required before instrument removal, calibration, or maintenance.
This arrangement does not replace multi-valve manifolds when full block-and-bleed functionality with separate isolation philosophy is required.
Not suitable for slurries, suspended solids, or viscous media due to limited seat cross-section and risk of blockage or seat leakage.
Pressure/temperature, Kv, venting direction, 316–PTFE–FKM compatibility, and thread standard must be verified. The product page lists ISO 228-1, while the technical sheet specifies ISO 7-1 / EN 10226-1; this should be confirmed prior to procurement.
