Genebre 2225N Needle Valve – 6000 psi, NPT F/F

Manual needle valve for throttling small flow rates in high-pressure lines. The 2225N features female NPT threads per ASME B1.20.1, stainless steel body ASTM A479 Grade 316, and a maximum working pressure of 6000 psi at 38°C, approximately 410 bar.

Operational Use

The 2225N is used for manual throttling in clean liquids or gases, not as an automatic control valve. Actual flow depends on ΔP, Kv, viscosity, temperature, and piping losses. The pressure-temperature curve must be considered, as the nominal pressure of 6000 psi is not constant across the temperature range.

Difference from 2225

The 2225N is the NPT version. The 2225 pertains to ISO 228/1 connection. Replacement between the two should not occur without checking thread standard, thread sealing medium, pressure, temperature, and available Kv.
