The YTC YT-2500L / YT-2550L is a digital electro-pneumatic positioner designed for linear control valves with pneumatic actuators. It accepts a 4–20 mA DC input signal from a controller, PLC, or DCS and modulates actuator air pressure to ensure valve travel matches the setpoint. The onboard microprocessor supports auto calibration, PID control, alarm functions, and HART protocol.
YT-2500 features an epoxy-coated cast aluminum housing. YT-2550 uses STS316 stainless steel, suitable for corrosive or exposed environments. Both models support linear and rotary actuators, share identical control logic, and have the same air/signal parameters.
Supported valve characteristics include linear, quick open, equal percentage, and custom 16-point characterization. Additional features: split range 4–12 mA / 12–20 mA, tight shut-open/close, and variable orifice for hunting reduction in small-volume actuators.
Available options: single/double acting, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, position transmitter, mechanical or proximity limit switches, and fail freeze/fail safe logic, depending on order code.
Used in control loops for steam, condensate, cooling water, hot water, instrument air, and auxiliary process networks. Typical installations: heat exchangers, bypass lines, manifolds, and control valves for flow, pressure, or temperature regulation.
YT-2500 Smart Valve Positioner accurately controls valve stroke, according to input signal of 4-20mA, which is being input from the controller. In addition, built-in micro-processing operator optimizes the positioner's performance and provides unique functions such as Auto calibration, PID control, Alarm, and Hart protocol.
