The YT-2400L is a digital electro-pneumatic positioner designed for linear control valves with single or double acting pneumatic actuators. It accepts a 4–20 mA DC input signal and modulates output air pressure to the actuator, ensuring valve stroke corresponds to the controller setpoint. Features include auto calibration, PID tuning, alarm functions, and optional HART communication.
Selectable flow characteristics: linear, equal percentage, quick open, or custom (up to 16 points). Supports split range 4–12 mA / 12–20 mA, dead zone adjustment, and KP, KI, KD parameters for tuning in applications with hunting, hysteresis, or unstable response due to stem friction or small actuator volume.
Suitable for control valves handling steam, condensate, hot water, chilled water, instrument air, and auxiliary process circuits. Commonly used in heat exchangers, bypass lines, manifolds, HVAC units, and pressure, flow, or temperature control loops.
Available with single or double acting operation, PT or NPT connections, HART protocol, position transmitter (PTM), limit switches (L/S), and lever options for different strokes: 10–40, 20–70, 50–100, 100–150 mm.
When to select YT-2400L over YT-2300L?
Choose YT-2400L when flameproof enclosure (Ex d IIB [+H₂] T6) and robust metal housing are required for hazardous area installations.
