Knife Gate Valve Zubi T200 Unidirectional
The Zubi T200 Unidirectional is a full bore isolation knife gate valve with a cast monoblock body and internal knife guides. It provides unidirectional sealing; the installation must ensure that the higher pressure pushes the knife towards the seat. In the opposite direction, allowable pressure is limited to approximately 1/3 of the nominal.
Operating Limits
- DN50–DN250: 10 bar
- DN300–DN450: 6 bar
- DN500–DN600: 4 bar
- DN700–DN1200: 2 bar
- Suspended solids: up to approximately 5%
- Testing: UNE-EN 12266-1
- Flanges: EN1092 PN10/16 as standard, with other drillings available upon request.
Fluids and Applications
Used for isolation in water, wastewater, pulp, biomass, mining, bulk handling, chemical circuits, and auxiliary power plant lines. Not a control valve; primarily selected for on/off isolation where fibers, sludge, or low solid content are present.
Materials and Sealing
Body: GG25, GGG40/50, CF8, CF8M, 904L, Duplex, Superduplex, and special alloys.
Knife: AISI304L, AISI316L, 254SMO, Hardox, or special alloys.
Seats: EPDM, NBR, Viton, Silicone, PTFE, RPTFE, Graphite, Flucast.
Packing: Synt+PTFE, pure PTFE, or graphite. Seat selection based on pH, temperature, corrosiveness, and sealing requirements.
Actuation
Available with handwheel, lever, gearbox, chain wheel, single or double-acting pneumatic cylinder, electric or hydraulic actuator. For pneumatic cylinders, 5–6 bar dry, filtered, and lubricated air is recommended.
Maintenance
Flange alignment, cross-tightening, and gland packing inspection are required after line pressure. Excessive tightening increases operating torque and reduces packing lifespan.
