Zubi T200 Bidirectional Knife Gate Valve
The Zubi T200 Bidirectional is a knife gate isolation valve featuring a monoblock cast body, internal knife guides, and wedges on both sides, allowing it to operate with equal differential pressure in both directions. It is selected when pressure direction may reverse or when line section isolation is required from either side.
Operating Ranges
- DN50–DN250: 10 bar
- DN300–DN450: 6 bar
- DN500–DN600: 4 bar
- DN700–DN1600: 2 bar
- Flange Connections: PN6/10/16/25/40, ANSI 125/150, JIS 5K/10K, AS-2129 D/E
- Standards: 2006/42/CE, 2014/68/EU PED, 2014/34/EU ATEX Area 2 & 22
Fluids and Applications
Suitable for water and industrial fluids with suspended solids up to approximately 5%. Typical applications include water/wastewater facilities, pulp, chemical industry, mining, power plants, biomass, and bulk handling. The full bore design reduces pressure drop, while the body geometry limits solid accumulation in the seat area.
Materials and Sealing
Body: GG25, GGG40, WCB, CF8, CF8M, CF3M, 904L, Duplex, Superduplex, 254SMO.
Knife: AISI304L, AISI316L, Hardox or special alloys.
Seats: EPDM, NBR, Silicone, Viton/FKM, Graphite, Flucast, PTFE.
Packing: Synt+PTFE, PTFE, Graphite, Ceramic or greased cotton. Selection is based on temperature, pH, corrosiveness, solids, and required tightness.
Actuation and Instruments
Available with handwheel, lever, gearbox, chain-wheel, pneumatic cylinder, hydraulic or electric actuator. Optional: limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoid valves, positioner 4–20 mA, locking device, stem extension, bonnet, and cleaning holes.
Maintenance
Installation requires clean, parallel flanges and cross-tightening. The gland is adjusted only as needed to stop leakage; excessive tightening increases torque and reduces packing lifespan.
