Zubi T200 Lug Knife Gate Valve
The Zubi T200 Lug is a full bore isolation knife gate valve with a monoblock body and internal guides for the blade. The primary configuration is unidirectional: full pressure is applied towards the seat, while in reverse operation, the allowable pressure is limited to approximately 1/3 of the nominal.
Operating Areas
- Sizes: DN50–DN1200
- Operating Pressure: DN50–DN250 10 bar, DN300–DN450 6 bar, DN500–DN600 4 bar, DN700–DN1200 2 bar
- Media: water, wastewater, dilute slurries, liquids with solids up to approximately 5%
- Testing: UNE-EN 12266-1
- Flanges: EN1092 PN10/16, with other drillings available upon request
Industrial Applications
Used in water and wastewater treatment plants, chemical facilities, mining, pulp, biomass, bulk handling, and auxiliary circuits in power generation plants. Not selected as a throttling valve, but as an on/off isolation in lines where suspended solids would cause issues in conventional valves.
Materials and Sealing
The body is available in GG25, GGG40/50, CF8, CF8M, 904L, Duplex, and Superduplex. The blade can be AISI304L, AISI316L, or a special alloy. Seats in EPDM, NBR, Viton, Silicone, PTFE, RPTFE, Graphite, or Flucast are selected based on chemical compatibility, temperature, and required tightness. Packing: Synt+PTFE, PTFE, or graphite.
Actuation and Instruments
Available with handwheel, lever, gearbox, chain wheel, single or double-acting pneumatic cylinder, electric or hydraulic actuator. For pneumatic operation, 5–6 bar dry and filtered air is recommended. Optional: limit switches, proximity switches, solenoid valves, positioner 4–20 mA, locking device, and stem extension.
Maintenance
Flange alignment is critical. Body deformation increases operating torque and affects sealing. After line pressure, check the gland; excessive tightening reduces packing lifespan.
