The ADCA S25SS is a centrifugal moisture separator constructed from stainless steel, designed for steam, compressed air, and other industrial gas lines. Separation of water or oil droplets, entrained moisture, particulates, and salts is achieved via centrifugal action, impact, and vortex flow within the body. Collected condensate is retained in the lower chamber and must be discharged automatically using a suitable steam or air trap.
PN16: 16 bar at 50 °C, 15 bar at 100 °C, 12 bar at 250 °C. For saturated steam: max 12.7 bar at 200 °C or 12 bar at 250 °C.
PN40: 40 bar at 50 °C, 37.9 bar at 100 °C, 27.6 bar at 300 °C. For saturated steam: max 29.9 bar at 250 °C.
316/316L stainless steel construction is selected for systems requiring enhanced material compatibility with moisture, condensate, or for cleaner industrial services. Condensate outlet is always oriented downward. Lower connection is typically ISO 7 Rp (EN) or NPT (ASME); flanged drain available. Upper connection may be used for venting or instrumentation.
PN rating per EN 1092-1:2018; ASME flanges per EN 1759-1:2004; design in accordance with AD-Merkblatt. For PED Group 2 fluids, classification depends on DN and PN, ranging from SEP to Category 4 with CE marking.
Is maintenance required?
No moving parts in the body. Inspection focuses on trap operation, flange tightness, and removal of debris from the drain line.
Where is it installed?
Upstream of pressure reducing valves, control valves, heat exchangers, coils, and instrumentation requiring protection from entrained moisture.
