ADCA S25S PN63 Steam Moisture Separator

The ADCA S25S PN63 is a centrifugal moisture separator constructed from carbon steel, designed for steam, compressed air, and other industrial gas lines. The internal flow path induces turbulence and impingement, causing entrained water droplets, oil mist, suspended moisture, particulates, and salts to be directed into the lower collection chamber. Condensate removal is automatic and requires a suitable steam or air trap for continuous operation.

Operating Limits

For flanged PN63 / Class 600 versions, body limits are 58 bar at 100 °C and 43 bar at 300 °C. For saturated steam, maximum operating pressure is 47 bar at 261 °C. Ratings per EN 1092-1:2018; design per AD-Merkblatt.

• High-pressure main steam lines
• Upstream of pressure reducing valves and control valves
• Protection of heat exchangers, coils, and instrumentation
• Compressed air lines with condensate or oil carryover

Installation

Condensate outlet must always be oriented downward. The lower connection is routed to a steam trap station with isolation, strainer, flow control, and check valve as required. The upper connection may be used for venting or sensing lines.
