3-Way Ball Valve with Heating Jacket 4G Ghidini 300125C

Three-way T-port ball valve with four seats and integrated heating jacket, designed for diverting, bypassing, or mixing flow in heated process lines. All three ports feature DIN 11851 female/female/female connections. Manual operation via stainless steel lever. Full bore design for minimal pressure drop.

Technical Data

  • Body materials: AISI 304L / 1.4307 or AISI 316L / 1.4404
  • Sizes: DN10 to DN100, with DN125 reduced bore option
  • Seats: modified virgin PTFE
  • Operating temperature: -20°C to +170°C
  • Finish: external polished
  • Pressure rating: up to PN100 for small sizes, decreasing to PN16 at DN100 / DN125 reduced
  • Heating jacket connections: 3/8" or 1/2", depending on valve size

T-Port Operation

The T-pattern ball enables multiple flow configurations between three branches. Typical uses include bypass, recirculation, tank selection, or mixing two lines to a common outlet. Not intended for continuous throttling without assessment of pressure drop, flow velocity, and seat wear.

Heating Jacket

The jacket is specified where the process medium increases in viscosity, solidifies, or crystallizes at lower temperatures. Common applications: syrups, fats, waxes, resins, chocolate, and chemicals requiring temperature maintenance. Thermal supply must be calculated considering line insulation and product residence time.

Sealing and Options

Standard configuration includes 4 PTFE ball seats, 3 PTFE sleeve seals, double PTFE stem seal, and FKM stem O-ring. On request: glass-filled PTFE seats (up to +170°C), carbographite-filled PTFE (up to +180°C), PTFE with stainless steel (up to +200°C), UHMW-PE (up to +80°C).

FAQ

When to select over 300101C?
Use when the process line requires DIN 11851 connections instead of ISO 228 threaded.

Is it suitable for CIP?
Can be used in CIP lines if installation geometry, ball cavity drainage, and seal compatibility are verified.
