The ESV 80 G/G is a mechanical float-operated level control valve with threaded inlet and outlet connections. It is designed for filling medium and large tanks or for use as an in-line valve where local, non-electric level control is required. Level adjustment is achieved by repositioning the float on the lever arm or via the integrated level adjustment mechanism.
ESV series valves are specified for aggressive liquids, air, and gases. For chemically treated water, saline solutions, or corrosive agents, compatibility with FPM seals and stainless steel 1.4404/1.4571 must be verified.
The G/G variant is selected when the installation uses threaded connections and flanged ends are not required. It covers smaller diameters than F/F and F/G types, starting from DN 15. For DN 40–DN 80, F/F and F/G versions are available when flanged connections are preferred for piping or maintenance reasons.
Is an actuator required?
No. Operation is purely mechanical via the float and lever mechanism.
What should be checked before selection?
Filling flow rate, available pressure, DN, installation position, media density, float movement clearance, and potential for solids deposition on the seat.
ESV G/G
Float valves of this series are ideal for filling medium to large storage tanks or for level control. A desired liquid level can be precisely adjusted by moving the float. The valves have a high flow rate and are particularly suitable for aggressive waters and other aggressive liquids. ESV valves are also suitable for use as pipeline valves.
