Genebre 2440 CROMAX IDRJA – Disc Check Valve

The Genebre 2440 is a guided disc check valve constructed from stainless steel AISI 304 / 1.4301 with threaded ends ISO 228-1. Operation is achieved via differential fluid pressure and a return spring; no actuator is required.

Media and Limitations

Suitable for liquids compatible with AISI 304, FPM, and PTFE, such as water, closed-loop heating/cooling circuits, and auxiliary process lines. Not recommended for media causing severe vibration (air, gases, steam). Not suitable for vacuum service.

Selection Considerations

Valve sizing should be based on flow rate, Kv, pressure drop, and minimum differential opening pressure. At low flows, disc instability may occur, especially near pumps, solenoid valves, or pulsating flow points.

Applications

Used in compact piping, machinery, auxiliary water circuits, filling systems, wash lines, and installations requiring stainless threaded check valves with minimal installation volume.
