Genebre 2449 IDRJA – Flanged Disc Check Valve PN16

The Genebre 2449 is a spring-loaded, guided disc check valve with flanged ends according to EN 1092-1 PN16. Operation is based on differential pressure; there is no actuator or external control signal.

Operating Limits

Maximum working pressure: 16 bar. Temperature range: -20°C to +150°C. Opening pressure: 0.035 to 0.065 bar, suitable for low differential pressure lines.

Available in DN125, DN150, DN200. Corresponding Kv values: 260, 325, 525 m³/h. Weights: 18, 24, 36 kg. Valve selection should be based on required flow, allowable pressure drop, and minimum stable differential pressure, not just pipe diameter.

Applications & Limitations

Suitable for clean liquids compatible with AISI 316, FPM, and PTFE. Typical uses: water networks, process auxiliary circuits, stainless steel flanged PN16 installations. Not recommended for media causing severe pulsation (air, gases, steam) or for vacuum service.

No. Sealing is achieved with FPM / Viton.
