Genebre 2445N CROMAX IDRJA – Stainless Steel NPT Check Valve

The Genebre 2445N is a stainless steel wafer check valve with a guided disc and return spring. Operation is based on differential fluid pressure; there is no actuator or external control. The 2445N variant differs from the 2445 by using NPT threads per ASME B1.20.1.

Construction

• Body, ends, disc: stainless 1.4404 / AISI 316L
• Disc guide: PTFE
• Spring: AISI 316
• Seat: FPM / Viton
• TIG welded, no filler material
• Sizes: 1/4" to 4", PN16

Operating Limits

Maximum working pressure is 16 bar. Opening pressure is 0.025–0.035 bar. Temperature range per datasheet: -20°C to +150°C. For chemical, hot, or chlorinated media, verify compatibility of AISI 316L, FPM, and PTFE.

Hydraulic Data

Kv values range from 2.5 m³/h at 1/4" to 181 m³/h at 4". Kv should be used for pressure drop calculations, especially in small lines with low differential pressure.

Application Limitations

The datasheet does not recommend use with media causing strong pulsations, such as air, gases, or steam. Not suitable for vacuum service.

2445 vs 2445N

2445 uses ISO 228 threads. 2445N is for piping or skids with NPT connections. Main materials and Viton seat are unchanged.
